Goa Glass Fibre Limited was a pioneering, indigenous effort to develop a manufacturing base for high-tech products like glass fibre reinforcements & composites. Building on the Group's core values and strength, the Company was able to establish itself as a global supplier of such products in a short span of time.

Commissioned in 1996, Goa Glass Fibre Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Binani Industries Limited (BIL), producing high-grade glass fibre. This Company was the first of its kind to export glass fibre from India and is on the path of extensive expansion. Today, the Company exports 50% of production to 26 countries across five continents and caters to various segments of the composite industry.

The Company utilises the unique and latest technology of 'OXY FUEL COMBUSTION' for glass melting. Use of this technology is instrumental in saving of fuel and reduction of combustion emissions to the atmosphere.

Goa Glass Fibre Ltd. has a distribution network well spread across the globe to meet domestic as well as international demands. Looking forward, Goa Glass Fibre plans to gain on economies of scale through global partnerships to meet the challenges of the emerging markets.
